Founding partners Cory Desloge and Brad Lehmann met back in 2014 when Cory took a sabbatical from the Cannabis industry to tour manage the post hardcore band He Is Legend.
Brad’s band, Maylene and the Sons Of Disaster shared the stage over 30 times with He Is Legend throughout 2014 and Brad and Cory quickly found a mutual bond in travel, Cannabis, and music.
Eventually Cory went back to the Westcoast and the world of high-end Cannabis cultivation. Brad returned to Nashville and took a job as a roadie for a multi-platinum recording artist. While in town for the College Football National Championship in 2018, Cory invited Brad to tour his current grow facility….
That place was 710 Labs.
It was while touring that monolith of a facility that the idea of producing boutique CBD genetics in Tennessee came to be. What was just a hypothetical discussion between old friends, became a reality when land and licenses were approved for the 2019 Tennessee Hemp Pilot Program. It was then that Cory relocated to Nashville and things quickly escalated and concept of Frequenseed came to fruition.
Fast forward to a year later, the company has released its first offering to the CBD/Hemp genetics world. It is their take on Boxwine, the Cherrywine X Boax hybrid. They boast 8-12% CBD and their entire seed catalog is Feminized.
The “distinctive terpene aromas of sweet tropical fruit and evergreen” make Boxwine and Frequenseed worthy of your garden this year.
A mission of the company is to team up and generate varieties in each farming region to develop specific cultivars that will perform optimally for the farmer in every region of the world. We are currently working to develop cannabinoid specific varieties and high fiber varieties.
Stay tuned to our frequency to see the vibes we will be releasing in the coming months!
Meet the crew behind Frequenseed
We’re a talented group of creative individuals who happen to love curating amazing hemp seeds… and having a little fun.
Cory
Founding Partner
Cory Desolge is a native of Gainesville, Virginia, approximately thirty minutes southwest of the nation’s capital. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. His interest in the cannabis industry was sparked by the benefits received by a childhood friend during his battle with cancer. He became interested in relocating to Colorado due to the opportunity surrounding the rapid movement of the cannabis/hemp industry within the region. His goal was to further his knowledge of the medicinal benefits of the plant. In 2009, he made the jump to the Midwest and began to study the many ways to cultivate the plant and to understand the nuances of producing the highest quality of medicine and seed from cannabis. For the past 10 years Cory has managed 5 different commercial production facilities. During that time he has generated and implemented standard operating procedures and pest management programs. His goal was to ensure a high quality and clean product for the consumer. Cory views this plant as a life-changing commodity for the human population and wants to do his part in introducing it to the masses.
Brad
Founding Partner
Brad is from Florida but don’t hold that against him. He has never robbed a 7-Eleven high on bath salts using a baby alligator as a weapon. However, he is a Summa Cum Laude Graduate from Florida International University’s College of Communications. Brad has worked in and around the music industry for the last 15 years. He has traveled to over 50 countries as a musician, tour manager, and guitar technician. So why is this guy running a Cannabis genetics company? I think the dude just REALLY likes weed.
Walter
Founding Partner
Walter was a 13 year old Boston Terrier/Cocker Spaniel mix. This good boy initially came up with the concept of Frequenseed. He solely created the name, intellectual properties, and funding. It was only due to Walter’s lack of a social security number and inability to not gently chew on legal documents that Brad (Walter’s college Roomate) and Cory were brought in to help. Walter once described the merger of the three partners as “woof” and “awoooo”. Walter went on to that big boneyard in the sky in June, but we still honor his memory and contribution to establishing Frequenseed.
