Here at Frequenseed, we utilize lab testing to insure our breeding and seed stock are pathogen, virus and viroid free. This is of course made possible because of our focused breeding practices. Let us elaborate.

Genetics

Prior to 2014, research on Cannabis in the United States was difficult to say the least, but that didn’t mean all was lost. Here at Frequenseed, with our expertise, we have been able to roll out seeds that are:

  • 15-20% CBD (We have COA to back this up)
  • Pathogen and Hop Latent Virus free*
  • Lab tested to insure our breeding & seed stock are pathogen, virus and viroid free

Take for example, Boxwine.

As a Cherrywine x BaOx Select hybrid, THE Boxwine variety is a unique blend of both genetics. Pulling characteristics of the Baox, showing a thin structure, quick flower time and quick during time, paired with traits of vigor, rapid branching and bushing from the Cherrywine, our Boxwine shows us the best of both worlds.

Breeding

Our goal at Frequenseed is to create seed varieties for each industry segment including food, feed, and fiber. With focused breeding practices, a better seed leads to a better yield for those high production farmers.

What Is FQ1?

Short for Frequenseed-1, it is the champion of champions.  FQ1 was one of our finest phenotypical expressions of the 1st generation Boxwine seeds.  We loved it so much that we chose to utilized it as our pollen donor during our 2020 season.  You won’t find FQ1 or FQ1 crosses anywhere else but through Frequenseed.
